Mathilda is well known around school as a very talented, award-winning filmmaker, and she has recently won another award for a film she entered in the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Across Asia Youth Film Festival (AAYFF) (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aayff.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Across Asia Youth Film Festival (AAYFF)<\/a>. Mathilda\u2019s short film, Time, won the award for <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Best Experimental Film (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aayff.com\/aayff-2019-winning-films\" target=\"_blank\">Best Experimental Film<\/a>. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although she takes arts subjects and is a member of the IGBIS Film Club at school, Mathilda finds time to work on the majority of her films outside of school. Mathilda is enrolled in our <a href=\"https:\/\/igbis.edu.my\/academics\/curriculum\/career-related-programme\/cp-scad\/\">IB Career-related Programme<\/a>, and hopes to head to a university with a strong film programme when she graduates from IGBIS next year. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year the AAYFF competition received 244 entries from 71 schools in 12 countries. The award ceremony was held at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ishcmc.com\/\">International School Ho Chi Minh City<\/a>, in Vietnam.
