Dr Yong Meng Hsien completed his medical school in University of Malaya with multiple medals and awards to his name. He then obtained his post graduate certification specialising in ophthalmology from UKM. His focuses include outpatient ophthalmic care, cataract surgeries, in-office procedures for dry eye/ocular surface diseases, ocular surface surgeries and cornea procedures. He is also a clinical lecturer and involved in research and publication. In addition, he has co-authored books and won prizes for his ophthalmology related innovation. He also actively participates in charity ophthalmology services and cataract surgeries with NGOs. Dr Yong Meng Hsien also has a special interest in corneal and external eye diseases.
