Ms Kim is a founding staff member of IGBIS. She has previously worked at schools in China and Vietnam with extensive teaching experience with IGCSE and the IB curriculum in MYP and DP. She has been teaching ESL, Chinese and Korean to students from 5 to 18 years of age. She is also a DP Mandarin Ab Initio examiner and previously was an MYP Korean A moderator. She has had an article published in The Asian EFL Journal (“Students and Teachers Use of and Attitudes to L1 in the EFL Classroom”). She has helped organise events that promote the school and the IGBIS community including International Day and Chinese New Year assemblies, and parent workshops. She loves music and enjoys being involved with the school orchestra, productions and concerts.
