IGB International School (IGBIS) is owned and operated by the school licence holder Detik Harapan Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of IGB Corporation Berhad. Detik Harapan Sdn Bhd received approval from the Ministry of Education in 2011 to establish IGB International School (IGBIS).

IGB International School (IGBIS) Governance & Management
IGB International School (IGBIS) is governed by a Management Board which meets monthly with the Head of School, oversees various sub-committees – including finance – and has an advisory Board of Governors that meets twice per year. The Management Board is entrusted to ensure that the school abides by its policies and procedures, maintains financial and strategic viability, follows all required laws and regulations, and hires, fires and manages the Head of School as their sole employee.
