Senior Leadership Team

Mr MacDonald is a passionate educator. He is passionate about sports, music and the power of stories to move minds and hearts. He is a big fan of wellness and thinks learning should be a joyful endeavour. He is passionate about service work and thinks the key to happiness is doing things that make you like yourself better. He comes to IGB with over 25 years of middle school teaching experience, primarily overseas and primarily within the IB. He also comes to IGB with a wife, Tracy, who he thinks is the best teacher he knows. His daughters, Clancy and Maizy, attend university in Canada, where he grew up. He has spent the majority of his career in Singapore, where he worked as the MYP Coordinator and MS Lead Teacher at The Canadian International School, though he has also worked in Canada, Turkey and Brazil. He is an IB trainer and school visitor and is very excited about joining the IGB community and learning and growing alongside you and yours.
