Originally from Beijing, Mr Guo received his education and training at the University of Hong Kong. He has worked at four IB World Schools in China and overseas, and has been exposed to IB educational philosophy and teaching practice since 2008. He has travelled extensively in Malaysia. He relishes durian and coconut water, and he can never get enough of the distinctive flavours of local ice cream. Mr Guo enjoys writing and has published 15 booklets with his students. Mr Guo is looking forward to participating in more mindfulness exercises with IGBIS colleagues and students to maintain self-awareness and mental wellness while the pandemic continues.
