University professors from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Hong Kong hosted creative arts workshops at IGB International School (IGBIS) on 13 and 14 April for both IGBIS students and the wider community. Participants had the opportunity to experience the art and design learning environment at SCAD. 36 people took part in the event where they were introduced to the different courses run by SCAD while trying out the tips and tricks the professors shared with them. Participants also learnt about the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme at IGBIS, where the school has partnered with SCAD to offer a great programme allowing Grade 11 and 12 students to undertake university courses through SCAD while they are still studying at IGBIS. IGBIS generously covers the tuition fees charged by SCAD, making this programme an affordable way for students to get a head start on their university career.
